I attribute Baby En's health and his feisty temperament to Aunty Zhongqiang's yummy cooking and the arty French culture... I really believe the trip to France has done wonders to Baby En's development albeit while he was only 5 mths in my womb! To date, we are eternally grateful to Aunty for not only hosting us, but also her efforts in ensuring we are well fed and comfortable. Every night, we would go back to her home in anticipation of steaming, yummy food, and the congenial conversations where she dosed out bits & pieces of advice to heed as parents.. Hmm, not sure if Uncle's artistic talent in oil painting had rub off on En, or Xiaomei's fluent grasp of the French language, but I sure like to think En's temperament may 've been somewhat influenced by the French - fiery and passionate! haks!
For all that Baby En is today, we thank Aunty Zhongqiang and her family!
